Our family has gone down this road . . . and an amazing road it is.

Our youngest - Margaret (Maggie) - is a heart-baby that was diagnosed @ 3 days old . . . large hole/tricuspid atresia/etc.

There are a lot of stories that I could go into about our journey with her. I won't add to the tsunami of emotions & information you're having to deal with right now. The summation is she is fine today. We just enjoyed her kindergarten graduation . . . a day that - many times - I thought I'd never see. She's active (nearly too much for her ol' Dad), intelligent (now 6 years old . . . going on 24 !!!), and a joy & blessing every day

My wife is an NICU-RN. She is on the HEARTGIFT board @ Childrens Hospital/New Orleans. Down here, we have two of the most gifted & dedicated pediatric cardiovascular surgeons on the planet.  Maggie is one of their many success stories.

I just want you to know that my son was born with Tetrology of Fallot (heart defect) with a VSD and had to have open heart surgery on the third day of life. He will be celebrating his 10th birthday this August and you would never know he has a heart problem.

Why am I telling you this??? TO take comfort that all will be well and life will be as close to normal, you are going to have many great times with daughter!

So Mike if you're reading or if anyone knows a way I can get a message to him, I'm a Chiropractor in south florida in the southwest ranches area.  I have certain things that I use to heal fractures MUCH faster than normal healing times.  I'm sure he's got amazing people working on his thumb, so I'm sure he's already employing these therapies to speed the healing of the fracture.  BUT after that fracture heals it's still very sore, still and painful, and can be for quite some time.  In fact I'm sure it will still be sore when he starts playing again.  This is the part that I know I can intervein and dramatically speed up recovery during this period of healing.  I have a technique I use that usually results in dramatic differences in just one treatment.  I can probably shave off a couple of months of pain that he would continue to endure, despite the fracture being healed.  I know he won't be getting this type of treatment because I developed this technique up myself.  No one else that I know of does this!

So if anyone can help me pass this info on to Mike it would really be appreciated.  It would really make me feel good to be able to help Mike get back in the game sooner, so we can have this Heat team firing on all cylinders!
